Notes

I visited historic Quaker Meetinghouses around the state of Pennsylvania. I made recordings of each meetinghouse when they were completely empty of people, including myself. I cut each of these recordings to five minute samples. The recordings were made with Sennheiser MKH 30/40 Mid-Side microphones into a Fostex FR2-LE digital audio recorder. The recordings were mixed from mid-side to stereo, but otherwise left untouched. I wanted to make these raw recordings publicly available. They continue to be part of my ongoing project of recordings silence.
